Hi Folks,
First of all I want to thank you very much for all of the wonderful email that has come my way in the last month. You’ve all been wonderful beyond words. I appreciate all the offers for help on ToonFinder, and everything else thats been coming my way.
I know I was very vague about why there hadn’t been a podcast in a while, I did that on purpose. I know people thought it was everything from personal problems to computer trouble. Let me tell you right now that the reasons were not negative at all. I’ve been working on some new projects that just can’t co-exist with ToonFinder Presents.
And so, it’s a bitter-sweet piece of news I have to bring you today. There will most likely be no more podcasts from this website. I say ‘most likely’ because it’s not out of the realm of possibility that I will be able to come back to ToonFinder Presents at some future time.
I will be leaving the blog and photos up for the foreseeable future for your enjoyment, and I will most likely post occasional updates about character news. And when the other projects I’m working on come to life I will be sure to let you know.
Thank you again for the short but wonderful run of ToonFinder Presents.
This epidsode is a fairly short reading of a touching letter to Disney from a happy guest. It’s one of what I know is millions of experiences.
We’re starting a project, but we need your help!
I would love to hear your story! Please email me your touching/happy/amazing/funny stories about Disney Cast Members and your experiences with them.

I just didn’t feel like I talked enough last night, so here is another episode!
I’d like to know what you think of splitting the podcast in two. Drop me some email and tell me what you think.
And a great story about giving someone else the same “Disneyland eyes” that I have.

Has anyone played with the Gizmo Project? I’m thinking about getting it running for ToonFinder so you all can talk to me for the show. Let me know if you have, and what you think.
Can you help answer character finding questions for parks other than Disneyland in CA? It shouldn’t be a huge thing… just a few emails a week. Let me know via email if your interested.
I talk some about letting the characters play their part… Don’t order them around into what you think the photo should be. It won’t turn out as good as you think.
The Muppet Show DVD box set is coming! It’s all to celebrate the 50th birthday of Kermit the Frog. Who knew he was born the same year as Disneyland?!?
Some more bits about Hong Kong Disneyland’s environmental activist group troubles (fireworks and such).
Roy Disney makes a major donation to the Orange Coast College.
And finally here are some resources to learn about the most recent court activities of the Walt Disney Company and how they will effect the running of the company.

In this episode we chat a little bit more about Ariel’s move to DCA with all her princess friends. I have some more info on the move, and why it actually sounds like it might alleviate all the problems that the princesses have faced at Plaza Inn.
We also dig a little deeper into my opinion of hand-drawn vs. CG character animation.
A big thanks to Don over at the Magical Theme Park Podcast for the nod on his last show.

Here we are with Episode 13!
This a few notes from this podcast:
A new podcast is on the scene! Head on over and listen to Mouse Guest Weekly and make sure Eric is feeling the love.
I give you a little update on my mess-ups from our last episode, just filling in the holes that I left open. For example, Mickey’s appearance at a dining location was short lived… and I’m sort of happy about it.
People near Hong Kong Disneyland don’t like the fireworks Disney is using. They want to have the air launch system installed to cut down on the smoke. Disney says “its not feasible”.
DisneyToon Studios is closing it’s Sydney Australia location.
Miramax has a new president and Sky High is coming on thursday (welcome back into the fold Kurt Russel)

Update:It seems this episode is just full of mess-ups. Just after posting this episode I realized I’m a total idiot. I did a whole bit about Ariel’s Grotto forgetting to say anything about the most recent meet and greets that the princesses are kicking out that have nothing to do with Ariel. Since Ariel’s Grotto is currently the only place to dine with Mickey Mouse, once this change is made Mickey will no longer be at any of the character dining resturants. It was good while it lasted.
Also, I mis-spoke about the gargoyles. They are in fact part of the Hunchback unit, not the Herc unit. That was just a major brain fart. As part of the Herc unit you will see Herc, Meg, Pain, Panic, and probably Philoctetes.
Ahh well… can’t get it right all the time.
In today’s episode I re-hash some newly confirmed character dining changes that will be taking effect at Disneyland on Aug. 16. This is some news thats been batted around as rumors on some Disney fan message boards for a little while, and I’m a little late brining it too you, but better late then never ‘eh?
I also go off on lots of news bits from all over the Disney company including a travel industry survey that came my way.

I have a special treat for you today. Episode 11 of Toonfinder Presents is actually not much of an episode. It’s a full audio recording of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary Castle Ceremony.
I don’t mud this up with any conversation at all.
Please enjoy this full audio recording presented by ToonFinder.com

We have a wonderful show for you today. Some words of wisdom and encouragement from Walt Disney himself.
A big thank you to all of you who have emailed me, I will make sure I respond to all of you. And a special thanks to Don from the Magical Theme Park Podcast for sending me a nice note.
Here are the visual aids I promised:

Here is an example of all the service award pins you might see on a Disney Cast Member’s name tag.
